The largest online, free-to-use photo library is 15 years old,
Fortepan. Two obsessed people started collecting family photos of private individuals, and the collection has now become indispensable. We, the viewers, do not see the handsome little boy or the strange aunt in the pictures, but an era. And the interesting thing is that everyone can choose for themselves what kind of Hungary they would like to see.
We talk about the history and future of Fortepan with founders Miklós Tamási and András Török at Kaviart. While showing lots of pictures, they recall special moments from the past fifteen years.
